This summer, help us to continue Sir Bobby's legacy. 

Sir Bobby wanted his charity to make a difference to lives affected by conflict. Our partnership with FC Shakhtar’s ‘United Together’ project in war-stricken Ukraine gives children the chance to play football safely, and to forget for a short time the trauma of war.

Three times a week, boys and girls aged 7 to 12 come together for a football session with a coach and volunteers in three Ukrainian towns, sponsored by the Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation. For a precious hour, they are immersed in physical exercise, training and playing games to hone their football skills and to simply have fun.

While there, however, the children are often forced to take shelter from the frequent air-raids and bombings and hide in sparse and dismal underground bunkers. With little there to occupy them, the children are cold, distracted and frightened.
 
This summer, please help us raise money for table football games for each of these bunkers. For just £5,000, we can bring the gift of football to these children, allowing them to have some fun and distraction whilst they are held underground for their own safety.
